Aon’s Privacy Statement

The security measures that have been incorporated at this site have been instituted to ensure that your personal information remains secure and private. The following controls have been put into place:

  • The information that you send to our site is always encrypted, using export grade (RC4-Export with 128 bit key, compatible with 40 bit) encryption. We accomplish this by using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), which guards your information from prying eyes on the Internet.

SSL is an encryption scheme that is based upon a pair of keys: one is private and the other is public. When you connect to our site the server sends your browser a public key, which your browser then uses to encrypt anything that it sends to our server. Only our server, with the matching private key, can decrypt that transmission.

All of that is automatic and relatively transparent to you. Your browser will tell you that your transmission is secure by displaying either a closed lock or an unbroken key at the bottom of the browser window.

  • We require each user to log into the system using their unique Personal Identification Number (PIN). That way, others cannot see your personal information.
  • We will never sell or disclose information we collect from you to a 3rd party. The information will only be used to authenticate, or verify, that your login is legitimate and you are an approved user. All personal health information you enter is held in a secure confidential database.
  • We use cookies only to remember who you are as you move between the pages in the system, and to facilitate your use of the system. We do not use any 3rd party cookies, like those used by banner advertising companies to track your movements on the web.
